I am Jennifer Ferrell, a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner from Durham, NC. Two-thirds of my career has been in the operating room, primarily, in reconstructive surgery with the orthopaedic and plastic surgeons at Duke and one-third of my career caring for women and newborns. My experience drove me to open a positive practice which offers solutions and support to optimize our health, a multi-layered collective of our physical, mental and spiritual states. As a wife, mother, musician, and a health professional, I understand the challenge of setting aside time for yourself. This insight allows me to listen, educate and guide my patients in a personalized plan to help them achieve their individual goals. My practice is built on the trust of the patients I've cared for over the years, up-to-date training, professional collaboration, and the world-class education I received at Watts, UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University.
